Triple A charity Marbella pays tribute to local veterinarian Michael Rackl


Triple A Marbella San Pedro has sadly announced that veterinarian Michael Rackl is deceased. On May 17, the organisation published a public tribute stating that he died after a brief but serious illness.

Rackl had worked with Triple A for  more than 10 years, according to the charity’s statement. According to the organisation, Rackl was a veterinarian during this time and involved in the care and treatment of animals at the shelter.

Triple A’s announcement described Rackl as “an excellent surgeon” who had taken care of a great number of animals in his shelter work. In the post, condolences were expressed to Rackl’s family, his colleagues, friends, and veterinary coworkers.

Kay, his co-worker at the shelter who was also a close collaborator with him, is also mentioned in the tribute. For reasons of respect, the charity disabled the comments on this tribute.

Role in the animal shelter

Triple A Marbella & San Pedro is a fantastic animal rescue organization based in the Costa del Sol. The shelter has a reputation for accepting injured and abandoned animals, treating them with veterinary medicine, and assisting in adoption processes. There are currently over 500 dogs and cats at the shelter that need to be rehomed and cared for.

Rackl was involved in the shelter’s veterinary operation for more than 10 years, according to the organization. He was responsible for performing surgical procedures on animals and providing general veterinary care.

Community Response

The local animal welfare community expressed its condolences upon hearing of his passing. The charity statement was the most reliable source of information on his professional and personal contributions to Triple A.
