The Guardia Civil warned tourists to the popular Costa Blanca beaches that valuables should be kept out of sight when parking their cars. Otherwise, they risk becoming a victim of robbery.
This advice follows a series of burglaries by two dangerous fugitives who are evading French justice.

One of the men is facing a murder charge. He was also wanted in Spain for a violent robbery.
The other had escaped prison in France, where he served time for robbery fraud and extortion.
The National Court has been notified to proceed with their extradition.
The Guardia Civil arrested two men after ten vehicles were stolen in parking lots near beaches in Calpe Moraira Javea.
In May, a number of car thefts near tourist beaches prompted an investigation.
They forced the doors or windows of the cars and stole cash, jewellery and electronic devices.
Guardia surveillance spotted the fugitives hiding in a car, with one of them stepping out to throw away a stolen bag into a garbage container.
The men were arrested and a number of stolen items were discovered in their vehicle.
They including a camera, tripod, selfie stick, external battery, jewellery, high-end perfumes and €1,500 in cash plus tools used to force open vehicles.
The ‘thrown-away’ backpack was returned- along with other items- to a foreign tourist.
