According to the Ministry of Health in Murcia, 190 salmonella cases have been confirmed at La Manga Hotel Cavanna as of Thursday.
Santa Lucia Hospital is still holding 19 patients, though some are expected to be released today.
The Health Ministry continues its investigation into the origins of the outbreak.

Some guests commented on anecdotal evidence that the spinach pasta sauce at the buffet was the culprit. Others pointed out the fish dishes.
Although there has not been an official confirmation of the incident, sources familiar with the investigation confirmed that it had taken place. La Verdad Newspaper reported that Salmonella bacteria were found in food samples taken from hotel staff and those who consumed the food on Saturday.
Public Health inspectors and scientists have allegedly spotted ‘deficiencies’ that have led them to conclude that action should be taken against the hotel.
The analysis of food, raw materials and surfaces is increasing.
In a recent statement, La Verdad, the Hotel Cavanna said on Wednesday that ‘to date, this establishment has not received any notification regarding the opening of a sanctioning file, nor is the origin or cause of the outbreak officially accredited’.
“The hotel is aware of the current situation and actively collaborates with the authorities to clarify the matter,” the statement continued.
Since Sunday afternoon the kitchen has closed, although it was still operating up until that point despite dozens guests becoming ill.
The Health Ministry defended its delay, stating that the closure notice was made ‘as soon as there was a suspicion that the origin of the outbreak was food, something that was confirmed that same afternoon with the first analyses’.
It added that it needed to rule out that the origin came from ‘airborne viruses or the hotel pool’.
This week an external caterer was supplying hotel guests with meals.
