Torremolinos rocked out with two weekends live music

Torremolinos will be turning up the volume in May when its Ruta del rock returns. This event is now in its thirteenth edition and brings together more that a dozen venues from the area for two weekends free live music.

Rock bands from all over the region will be playing in bars and pubs from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th May, and again, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th May.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience the local nightlife in a friendly, lively atmosphere. You can enjoy everything from classic to contemporary rock. Organised by a local promoter who works closely with each venue, the event offers something new every night.

The Ruta del Rock, a popular cultural event in Torremolinos, has been a constant fixture on the calendar. Over the years it has brought the music scene of Torremolinos to the forefront while also supporting local musicians and bars. The performances are held in smaller venues so you can get close to the musicians.
