Torremolinos Pride celebrates diversity and inclusion for a whole week.
The main celebrations will take place from June 5 to 7 and feature drag artists, but the opening weekend offers a variety of musical, sporting, and cultural events. These free events, which are family-friendly, will take place at the Centro Cultural Pablo Ruiz Picasso, and Plaza Costa del Sol.
The festival is organised by Colega Torremolinos and offers a variety of activities. These include live music, drag queen shows, sports events marathons, art exhibits, workshops film screenings conferences, games for children, contests and book presentations. This year’s program features local and international performers to ensure an unforgettable experience.
The Torremolinos LGTBI Choir will perform at 9pm on Wednesday, June 4 in Plaza Costa del Sol. This concert will set the tone for the rest of the week. Thursday, 6th June, the main events begin with a flag-raising ceremony, led by drag star Supremme Deluxe, at 9pm at Centro Cultural Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Spanish pop star Merche will perform, as well as electro-pop duo Ladilla Rusa and DJs Vicente Recio & Larkaika. A stellar lineup of drag queens, including La Prohibida, Supremme Deluxe, Paca Merino, Nikita Blum, Apotheosika, and Lorecepump, will dazzle the crowd, with Xenon Spain, Regina Varanski, and Iván Gelibter as the host.
The same venue will host performances at 8pm on Friday, 6 June. Hoffman will be joining the Rainbow Voices Choir, the legendary duo Sonia and Selena and DJs Dennis Moore & J.D. Drag queens Pink Chadora, Lara Sajen, Cherilyn Divine, Queen Kartajena, Talavera, Katrina, Dafne Mugler, La Crstiano, and Alma Desoul will take the stage, hosted by Estupenda Márquez, Regina Varanski, and Iván Gelibter.
The festival reaches its peak on Saturday, 7th June with the annual Pride parade through Torremolinos. It is a powerful show of unity and advocacy. Following the march, the final performances will feature Eurovision pop sensation Melody, Álvaro Mayo, DJs Neixon and Iván Pica, and another appearance by the Torremolinos LGTBI Choir. Drag queens Sharonne, Lola Spain, Kelly Roller, Satin Greco, Gina Turner, Coca Boom, Salvaora, La Camacha, and Pelidark will close the night in style, with Sharonne, Regina Varanski, and Iván Gelibter hosting.
