Torremolinos Pedals, Skates and Prizes

Torremolinos will once again welcome families, sports lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to its popular Día de la Bicicleta y del Patín this Sunday, May 18. This event, which is now in its third decade, is non-competitive, free and full community spirit.

This year, the route has a new twist. It now follows the coast. Participants aged 8 and over can ride an eight-kilometre route along the coast. The circuit for children aged under seven is shorter and safer.

There will be prizes, raffles and gifts for participants who stand out, such as awards for the best outfit, bicycle and family. Also, the school or group with highest attendance will be recognized.

For 2025, all the schools in the town are invited to enter a poster contest. Primary students can use any drawing or painting method, while secondary students will design their entries using AI tools like DALL·E or Midjourney. The winning students will also receive bicycles and have their work displayed.
