On Friday, August 1, The Elsewhere Quartet will be performing at Clarence Jazz Club.

This one-night only concert begins at 10pm and promises a wild mixture of classic jazz, with a contemporary and energetic twist. Delivered by a four-piece known for their innovative sound and electric performances.

The Elsewhere Quartet, originally from Granada is a group that specializes in the interpretation of jazz standards as well as less-known pieces. Mario Alonso plays guitar, Pierre Huarniz plays guitar, Tommy Moore plays bass and Cote Camet is on drums. The musicians have a wealth of experience, and their passion for jazz is evident in every performance.

The Elsewhere Quartet is united by a love of groove and musical exploration. They offer a unique sound that transcends conventionality. The eclectic repertoire of The Elsewhere quartet includes compositions by legendary musicians such as Thelonious Montk, Sonny Rollins and McCoy Tyner. It also includes innovative works of Pharaoh and McCoy Sanders. The band doesn’t just recreate the classics; it also adds its creative touch to infuse each interpretation with originality and freshness.
