Torremolinos 2027 half-marathon registration is now open

Registration is now open for the 2027 Torremolinos Half Marathon. The city hall has confirmed that it will be held on Sunday, the 7th of February. The popular sporting event, now in its 37th running year, will offer 2,750 places for race participants from Spain and beyond.

RockTheSport, the official platform for runners, offers early entry prices starting at only 15 euros. This offer is valid until Tuesday, 30th of June. Entries include a commemorative T-shirt, a runner’s backpack and a race T-shirt. Registration will remain open until January 20, 2027 as long as there are still places available.

The race will start at 9.30am outside the Pablo Ruiz Picasso culture centre in Torremolinos. Organisers of the race describe it as a flat and fast route, which covers 21.1 kilometers through city streets and areas along the coast.

Fast Course draws international crowd

Torremolinos Half Marathon has gained recognition as one of the top winter running events in Southern Spain due to its growing international appeal. After previous successful years, the race has now become known as one the leading half marathons of Southern Spain thanks to its mild February weather and accessible route profile.

The facilities for runners include timing chip, hydration station, medical support and bag storage. The race weekend will include a 5km event that is separate from the main event. This is for those who want a shorter distance, but still wish to participate.

First-time half marathoners continue to choose Torremolinos due to its easy terrain and stunning setting.

Success and support for the sidelines

The event in 2027 is expected to be a big success, as thousands of people took part in both races.
