Three of Britain’s most popular comedians will perform in Gibraltar’s St Michael’s Cave between April and June.
It’s worth the trip to watch the panelists bring the hilarity of their shows to life on stage in the cave formed by the limestone.
Russell Howard
Russell Howard, the “uplifting Comedy King,” is performing three shows in his first world tour. Russell Howard, the BBC 2 show Russell Howard’s Good News is his best-known work. He also appears regularly on panel shows. The audience can expect him to “put the world right in his unique hilarious way” during his Gibraltar performance.
Tickets for his two shows on April 11, at 7pm and 10pm, as well as his April 12 7pm show currently remain on sale for £40 at www.buytickets.gi.
Sarah Millican
The next to enter the cave is Would I Lie to You? Sarah Millican will bring her Late Bloomer Show to Gibraltar on May 9th and 10th. She will tell audiences about her journey from a quiet girl who would not say boo to an animal to a famous and loud stand-up comedian. A reviewer who attended a show in the past said that “a night with Sarah Millican” was not for the conservative, but she brought “an abundance of joy” for audiences.
At the time of writing 96% of tickets for her show have been sold, but fans can still pay £40 on www.buytickets.gi You are invited to the performances taking place on May 9 and 10 at 8pm.
Ramesh Ranganathan
Ramesh Ranganathan will perform his show Hustle in June 11 and 12th. The comedian is described as the “busiest man on television” on his website. He has appeared on panel shows like Taskmaster, Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week, and hosted quiz show The Weakest Link.
In his new show Hustle, he will “examine the human condition”, and ask “Are people by nature good?” Is charity a good thing? The show’s website warns that “there is likely to be adult content and swearing” despite these lofty philosophical questions.
Tickets for the June 12 7pm show and the June 11 7.30pm show are still available at www.buytickets.gi for both nights at £41 a head.
All performances will take place in St Michael’s Cave. Tickets include shuttle service from Midtown Coach and Car Park, located on Reclamation Road, to the venue.
