THREE men were arrested by Alicante City following the death of an Alicante City restaurant owner who was killed after his iPhone was stolen.
The Guardia Civil, the Police National and the Guardia Civil conducted investigations in Alicante City and found the three suspects – aged 21, 22 and 23 – who belonged to a criminal group.
Christian Pikulak (30), a Swedish expat, died after he was pulled under a vehicle several metres after his phone had been stolen on October 3.

Mr. Pikulak- the owner of the ‘Smashed Burger’ restaurant- died in Elche General Hospital four days later as a result of the serious injuries he sustained.
Around 4am, a group in a vehicle asked for directions on Calle Pedro Lorca.
Christian was trying to pull out his phone when one of the men grabbed it. He tried to resist but was then dragged underneath the car, as it raced off.
Authorities claimed that the three detainees, all of whom were Spanish citizens, had fled to avoid justice.
Two of the three were arrested Monday, with the third apprehended just two days later.
Two members of the group were ordered to be imprisoned pending their trial.
The accused have been charged with murder, robbery, violence and belonging to a criminal group. They also face charges of failing to assist an accident victim as well as road safety violations.
