Three arrested for a spate of burglaries, including the popular Duquesa Port on Spain’s Costa del Sol – CSN News


Two men and a female have been arrested following a string of robberies at Sabinillas port and Duquesa.

After local businesses complained of an increase in criminal activities in the region, authorities upgraded the security cameras.

Finally, thanks to these videos, police officers were able identify and arrest suspects who have since been handed to the judicial authorities.

Three suspects are being held in relation to a recent spate of burglaries reported by Duquesa and Sabinillas

The police continue to investigate whether the detainees were involved in other incidents similar to those that occurred in the township in recent weeks.

The arrests of seven suspected drug traffickers on a nearby Beach between Casares Costa & Manilva are the result of this.

Police were shocked when the gang unloaded 150kg cocaine in the early morning hours.

The investigation that culminated in the operation on Monday, March 10, was conducted by anti-drug and organised crime units. 

Police had been monitoring the suspected criminal gang’s activities for some time before intercepting what authorities describe as a ‘significant shipment.’
