The Champions Burger is coming to Mallorca during the entire Easter Week.

It’s a competition dedicated to producing gourmet hamburgers, and they cost less than €16.

The Champions Burger “Smash Edition” is being held until April 21 at the El Molino fairgrounds, located in the Galatzó neighbourhood of Calvià, and admission is free.

This event will bring together 12 burger restaurants from all over Spain. Nine of them will compete to win the title of the best smash burgers in Spain (the remaining three will enter the Hall of Fame).
The official opening of the exhibition is set for Wednesday 9th April at 7:00 pm.

The event will run from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM to Midnight, and from Friday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to Midnight, including the holidays on 17 and 21 of April (Maundy Thurday and Easter Monday).

By scanning the QR code found on the purchase receipt, you will be able to vote for the best burger. This includes a variety of factors such as the type of meat used, the type and quality bread, the originality and presentation.

The only thing that makes this particular stop in Mallorca unique is the fact that it’s part of the Smash Edition. In this version, all burgers will be prepared by using the “smash”, which involves pressing the meat against a griddle while at high temperature, giving them a crispier texture.
This requirement is designed to test the participants’ technical skills and creativity in a competition format that is more demanding but also limited.

The burger joints competing in this edition are: Bsamsh by Dak, Dava, Jisma The Best Burger, Klüg Burgers, Nolito’s, Bandidos Burger, El Surtidor On Fire, Tximist, and Dalú.

The Hall of Fame will include Gottan, Faakin, Smash and Evolutive, who were all previously recognized and not included in voting.

There will also be snack and dessert stands such as Sandgüix, Say Cheese, and Ybarra, with sweet options based on brioche bread and ice cream, and crafted cheesecakes.

There is also a gluten-free, vegetarian and allergen menu available.

The organizers have emphasized the “experience” aspect of the event by including entertainment areas for all audiences.
