Police found crystal meth inside the car of the wife of John George’s alleged murderer. His body was dumped into a Costa Blanca ditch back in January.
Madison Smyth, 20, spent 11 days in Fontcalent prison near Alicante before a €20,000 bail was raised.
She will be required to regularly check-in at the court and her passport has been removed.

She is married with Johnny Smyth (27), both of whom are originally from Northern Ireland.
Mr. Smyth has been in prison since March, when he was arrested by Portuguese authorities in connection with the murder of John George.

Around 5am, the Guardia Civil stopped her car in Torrevieja’s Punta Prima neighborhood on the N-332 during a routine inspection.
Officers noted that Smyth and the British woman, both 22, looked nervous. They also noticed that Smyth was hiding something under her clothes.
They discovered a bag with some crystal meth as well as 30 grams of cannabis resin and €685 in cash.
The vehicle was thoroughly searched and a bag hiding between the back seats revealed almost a kilogram of crystal meth.
Madison Smyth said in Torrevieja that she received threats after her husband was arrested.
She claimed that two days prior to her arrest she was approached by a man with a gun who threatened her mother and her brother.
He showed her pictures of her family and home and told her to come to La Zenia on the next day.
Smyth complied and testified in court that an unknown driver gave her a large bag after a car stopped next to her.
She claimed that it would be delivered to Torrevieja, but was then stopped by the Guardia Civil.
Madison Smyth is not facing any charges for the disappearance or murder of John George.
Ms. George’s parents have accused her of trying to cover the murder.
In January, a 32-year old Czech national was arrested as an alleged accomplice of Jonny Smyth.
John George’s corpse was discovered on 7 January near a road, in Rojales. This is a few kilometers inland from Torrevieja.
The father, a 37-year-old Belfast man, was stripped naked and then stabbed in his legs to incapacitate him before he was shot.
John’s family reported his disappearance in mid-December, after he had gone on holiday to Cabo Roig along the Orihuela Costa.
