The Turkish Mafia is blamed for the shocking shooting at Aldi on the Costa del Sol

The rival Turkish mafia group has been blamed for a SUPERMARKET shooting that resulted in an innocent bystander being shot in the arm.

After 6pm, on Sunday evening, the terrifying gunfight broke out as residents were stocking up in advance of the coming week in the Aldi parking lot at Isdabe. This is located between Estepona & San Pedro de Alcantara.

According to the renowned Spanish journalist Nipowifi who specializes in organised crime, two men opened up fire on shoppers as they went about their daily business. Authorities believe that this was an attack between two rival gangs fighting for power beyond their homeland Turkey.

One stray bullet struck a man – who had no connection to the mafia groups – as he waited in his car while his wife did the shopping.

The bullet struck the upper shoulder of a 10-year-old girl who was in the car with her neighbour.

After the incident, forensic police officers collected 27 casings. Eyewitnesses reported that two shooters had been peppering a stopped Audi in the parking lot.

As the bullets flew around, the gunmen reportedly ran toward the burning vehicle. It managed to reverse and flee in the direction of Marbella.

Some reports suggest that the shooters were picked up by a van after they realized they had accidentally hit an innocent person.

After the chaos subsided, the injured man was rushed to hospital by people who applied a tourniquet in order to stop his bleeding.

Within hours, images and videos of the shooting circulated among Instagram accounts connected to Turkish mafia.

The posts contained threats directed at rivals and suggested that the violence was part of a power struggle.

The gunmen are believed to be members of the Daltons and the Caspers, two so-called ‘new generation’ mafia outfits fighting for control of the drug trade and extortion rackets in Istanbul.

The Caspers received a serious blow last week when 79 members of their group were arrested as part of a massive police operation. Their leader is reportedly being held in Germany.

In the meantime, Daltons have been implicated violent incidents across Europe including fatal shootings in France, Greece, and other countries.

Their members often flaunt their power on social media, posting videos of themselves armed with automatic weapons while ‘patrolling’ the streets of Istanbul.

After the shooting on Tuesday, no arrests have been made. Police have begun an investigation, and are analyzing security camera footage.
