She was in a vehicle with three other men when the Guardia stopped their vehicle.

The officers found two guns and ammunition in a car driven by the man.

Smyth was arrested with two other men, a British citizen and an Irishman aged 35.

Smyth was granted bail by an Orihuela Judge on Wednesday.

Smyth’s car was stopped by the Guardia Civil in Torrevieja, Punta Prima during a routine morning check.

Around a kilo of crystal meth was found and she spent 11 days in Fontcalent prison near Alicante before a €20,000 bail was raised.

Her passport was taken away and she was told to appear in court regularly.

Madison Smyth was not charged in relation to the disappearance and death of John George.

Ms. George’s parents have accused her of trying to cover the murder.

Michal M. was arrested as a suspected accomplice of Johnny Smyth in January.

John George’s body was discovered in Rojales on the 7th of January, just a few kms from Torrevieja.

The father of two, aged 37, from Belfast had been stripped bare and stabbed repeatedly in the legs before he was shot.

John’s family reported his disappearance a year earlier after he went on holiday to Cabo Roig, on the Orihuela Costa. He stayed there with Johnny Smyth.
