Aussie rock‘n’roll firebrands The Prehistorics are set to raise the roof on Louie Louie, Estepona, on Thursday, June 26, at 10pm, as part of their seventh European tour.

All the way from Sydney, Australia, this underground sensation, formed in 2002 under the leadership of singer-songwriter-guitarist Brendan Sequeira, threatens a high-octane performance packed with their signature blistering rock sound. Fans of Rock’n Roll can expect a raw night, with influences such as Radio Birdman, The Hellacopters and The Hoodoo Gurus.

The Prehistorics tour to support their sixth album. It was a three-year labor of love after their critically acclaimed release in 2021, Racket du Jour. Sequeira and Michael Carpenter recorded the album with guest guitarists. It features a powerful twin-guitar attack and killer riffs. With the first single, “Invisible Hand”, this record mixes old-school classic rock and punk music with pounding beats. Sequeira’s vocals are grittier than ever in certain tracks. The album concludes with “Shades of Lipstick”, the power-pop hit that has become a favourite among fans at concerts and is being considered for the next video.

The Prehistorics are a rock band from Australia that has been a force in the Australian music scene for many years. Their return to Europe is a must see event. Louie Louie, Estepona’s premier music venue, will host their energetic live show.

Louie Louie is in Avenida Luis Braille, Estepona, opposite the harbour. The entry fee is €11.
