Seedy bar owner in Spain installed bathroom spy cameras which downloaded customer images to his computer

The owner of a bar in Spain who installed spy cameras to download customer images on his computer has been accused of installing snooping bathroom cameras.

Guardia Civil arrested a bar owner in VALENCIA for illegally spying on his customers using two cameras that were installed in the bathroom.

A tip anonymously sent via the Alertcops The Guardia based at Oliva swooped on L’Alqueria de la Comtessa, located in La Safor in Valencia province.

The 48-year old bar owner was charged with crimes of violating personal privacy.

GUARDIA INSPECT RESIDENCES

Guardia Civil officials discovered two cameras which recorded images around the clock. They were linked to an computer which stored them.

It is not possible to determine the number of victims until an analysis of over five terabytes worth of downloaded material has been carried out.

Officers also seized five hard disks.

The case has now been transferred to a Gandia court.

There are no further details about the perpetrator.
