It’s not unusual for premium car manufacturers to offer parts and services as a reference for classic models that are no longer in production. There are more mass-market automakers who follow suit. The Originals Renault la Collection has launched a new initiative for collectors who own historic Renault cars. A new website is now available (theoriginals-services.renault.com), these services are aimed at enthusiasts all over the world, providing them with solutions to service, repair and restore their classic cars.

The brand also announced the certification of 25 Renault After-Sales Sites in 2025. The sites will cover 80 percent of France and the goal is to allow all collectors find a specialist within 100 kilometers of their homes. Eight sites have already been opened to collectors. This initiative will be expanded outside France in the coming years, with the help of experts from Renault’s network.

Arnaud Beloni, Global Chief Branding officer for Renault, said, “We’re deploying new services specifically developed for enthusiasts and collectors who own classic Renault cars, allowing them the service, restoration and maintenance of their automotive treasures. It’s about protecting our automotive heritage so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

In 2022 Renault introduced a vehicle compliance service that allows owners to get a classic registration document along with certificates indicating the date when their vehicles left the plant, as well as the chassis, engine, and gearbox numbers and colours, and options.

Today, collectors are able to find spare parts via a network Renault After-Sales Sites, chosen for their expertise on classic vehicles. They can also get them through long-standing Renault partners who specialise in sports cars, upholstery, and mainstream cars.

The new website also offers 50 free repair manuals sourced from the Renault archives, as well as a variety of tutorials online to assist collectors in maintaining and repairing their classic Renaults.

The Originals Renault Garage will roll out this service across France, with eight sites already trained and prepared to welcome clients. The ultimate goal is to expand the service to 25 locations in France, which will cover 80% of France. This will allow collectors to locate an expert within 100km of their home. The next step is to extend this service internationally, by expanding the network of sites after sales to other countries.
