The Pool Marbella hosts contemporary art exhibition curated by the esteemed Michels de Champourcin gallery

The Michels de Champourcin Gallery curates a contemporary art show at the Pool Marbella

Horizontes is the first contemporary art exhibition to be held at The Pool Marbella. It will open its doors on Thursday 15th January from 6pm-9pm.

The Michels de Champourcin art gallery has curated this group show, which brings together thirteen internationally-recognized artists for a dynamic exploration on the transformative powers of contemporary artwork. The exhibition creates an exciting dialogue between geometric abstract, figurative realist, and material experiments, featuring works in photography, painting, and sculpture. Each work is a threshold for new perceptions. It challenges conventional boundaries and pushes the limits of what’s visible.

Highlights include William Gaber’s monumental compositions, Dave Van Arckel’s lively chromatic explorations, Salustiano García’s masterful hyperrealism, and Jesús Del Peso’s precise geometric forms. Together, these diverse voices form a rich visual dialogue that invites viewers rediscovering the emotional and perceptional depth of modern art. Van Arckel is an artist who has worked in many artistic disciplines for more than 20 year. His practice is marked by a remarkable versatility that spans traditional plastic arts and the most advanced digital technology.

The Pool Marbella – part of the growing “Marbella 2.0” community

Hosted in the exclusive, luxurious setting of The Pool Marbella, located at 2 Avenida Bulevar Príncipe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, the event combines contemporary creativity with Mediterranean elegance, making it an ideal destination for art collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone seeking inspiration on the Costa del Sol.

Michels de Champourcin is inspired by Ernestina de Champourcin’s poetic legacy from the Generation of ’27. She champions artists whose work opens windows to the soul, transcending time. This is more than just the first exhibition in this very special space, but a cultural event of great importance for Marbella.

Do not miss the chance to experience contemporary art and expand your horizons. Admission is free when you purchase a ticket. RSVP recommended via the gallery’s website. Join the conversation — and let the art redefine your perspective.
