THIEF APPREHENDED EL CAMPELLO

On February 18, he robbed a resort hotel that was not named and entered four rooms to steal valuables.

The Guardia Civil identified a suspect that they were familiar with because of his extensive criminal background.

He stole items he could fit easily into his backpack so he could escape quickly. Then resell the goods almost instantly.

Guardia agents launched a monitoring operation in El Campello, where he might strike again. On March 7, they intercepted the suspect.

Numerous specialised tools to force open doors were seized along with €400 in cash.

The man used multiple identities to make it difficult for investigators and police to locate him.
