Funk, Soul and Rock outfit The Agapornis from Cádiz have a long career funking up all of Europe and have gained a huge following and fame for filling the dance floor.
Louie Louie, a funky project characterized by vibrant and powerful live performances, will undoubtedly fill the night at this iconic Estepona venue. This project is full of energy and strength, and has a repertoire that overwhelms the audience.
The Agapornis are known for their soulful style, which is characterized by a powerful horn section and a rhythmic base that’s hard-hitting. A wild vocalist adds the final touch to this Soul cake.
‘It’s a more raw Funk that characterises us the most’, says Desi Tey, lead singer. ‘It’s the fact that we work with intensities that are sometimes very close to rock. The group has many musicians who come from Rock. Even if the sound is funky, we still have a lot of Rock influences. It’s difficult to describe without hearing it.
