European Youth Parliament returns to Maristas Malaga for 103rd summit

The 103rd Summit of the European Youth Parliament will be held in Maristas Malaga.

Malaga’s BILINGUAL school hosted one of the biggest summits in education from Thursday, October 23, to Monday, November 3, Maristas Malaga was the venue for the 103rd International Session (EMJS) of the European Youth Parliament. This event was part of Euro-Mediterranean Youth Summit.

Maristas Malaga: a centre of debate, discernment, discussion, and deliberation for students

The European Youth Parliament was founded in 1987 as an international organization that encourages youths to debate, think critically, and collaborate. The International Session, an important summit in the educational field, brings together participants from all over Europe.

Committees working together on global issues

At the Maristas Malaga event, youths from different countries discussed hot topics both on a European and global scale. The program emphasized group work, committee tasks, debate and reflection between students. It culminated in a final session of conclusions. Hardworking, intelligent, and curious students showed enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong teamwork spirit.

Maristas Malaga ‘very proud’ to host international event

This edition of the European Youth Parliament event reinforces the school’s commitment to its education and prepares the students for real political and social issues, both on a European scale and globally. The European Youth Parliament gave a positive review of the event. They also highlighted the work that Maristas Malaga did to make this event possible.

Maristas Malaga stated in a post on Facebook that she was “very proud” to be a hub for the initiative, which aims to bring together youths all over Europe through dialogue, collaboration, and a shared future. “Thanks for the trust you have placed in us.”
