The Costa Del Sol is being warmed by the Terran Wind
Spain’s National Weather Agency AEMET reports that the return to the Terral Wind is causing the temperatures on the Costa Del Sol to increase. On Wednesday, temperatures could peak at 30c. On Thursday, it is predicted to reach 32c. The night temperatures are expected to be in the 20c range. Costa Del Sol has no current weather warnings.
Wildfires are more likely to occur in high temperatures The Costa Del Sol was known to be devastated by these storms in the past. The risk of flooding is higher for animals as well. Pet owners should provide water and shade to their animals.

Terral Wind
Terral Wind originates from the north-west region of Spain. On its journey down to the coast, it heats significantly. Temperatures can rise above 35c when the wind is blowing. The Costa Del Sol is usually affected by the wind for two to three days, but it can come back several times in the summer and fall months.
