Take in an art walk around Cómpeta this weekend

The 16th ArtWalk Cómpeta is on from today, Friday 12 to Sunday 14 September and venues are open from 11am to 2pm and then from 4 until 8pm.

Around 40 artists from Spain and abroad will be exhibiting their work in the town. The works range from photography, ceramics, and digital art to painting, sculpture, and drawing. Live music, poetry and other performance arts are part of the art.

Thirteen countries will be represented: Spain (Cuba), Germany, Japan, Belgium Switzerland France Ireland, Lithuania UK Italy Netherlands Poland. Visitors have the chance to meet the artists, purchase their works or commission them.

On Plaza Almijara, there is an information counter with maps and brochures. They are also available at places around Cómpeta and on the coast and online to download.
