MANILVA will soon open its first ‘doggy beach’. You will be able enjoy the Costa del Sol’s beaches with your dog by Easter.
The ‘doggy beach’ is located on Playa de las Arenas, approximately 5km south of San Luis de Sabinillas, not far from Punta Chullera.
If you want to visit the beach, you should park in the ‘Parking Playa’ area, right next to the Seaside Grill & Bar, along the A-7 coastal road.

Parking spaces are scarce, particularly during the summer.
Two areas are available for you to take your dog. You can take your dog to two different areas.


You can bring your dog to the beach. However, it is important that you keep them on a leash so they don’t disturb other people.
You’ll find a leash free area in the sand if you follow the waypoints on the right.
As long as your dog stays between the ropes, they can do anything they like.


Before you head to the beach with your pet in tow to enjoy the sea, sand, and sun, please note these common rules and regulations.
- Keep your pet under control.
- Collect and dispose of the dog excrement in the designated bins.
- Please do not disturb anyone else on the beach.
- Vaccine your dog as soon as possible.
- If your dog is of a dangerous breed, or weighs over 20 kg, you must keep it on a leash.
Malaga has the most dog friendly beaches on the Costa del Sol.
