A MAN has been ordered to pay €2,500 in compensation to a Costa Blanca canine proprietor after spraying acid at his pet as a result of he was irritated at its barking. Tourists visiting popular Costa Blanca area are swindled over donations to bogus charities

Three people were arrested after tourists in Castell de Guadalest, Alicante Province, made donations to a fake charity on the street. The court in Villajoyosa released the men between the ages of 40 and 45. The nationalities of the men or women involved have not been disclosed.
