SPAIN’S birth rate has gone up for the first time in a decade according to the National Institute of Statistics coupled with a rise in ‘older’ new mothers. According to figures released by the INE on Wednesday, 321,164 babies born in 2018 – 3,159 more than 2024 – were recorded. Totals are based on registrations at the computerised civil registers. …
