Strictly Come Dancing 2020: The complete celebrity line-up

BBC has announced the tenth celebrity who will be joining them Strictly Come Dancing 2025 – The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner – as the well-loved dance show prepares for its September launch.

Skinner, who became famous in 2019 and built up a large following on social media, said: “I have never danced before (other than weddings), but I am ready to work hard and, of course, to laugh. Bring the sequins, the sambas, and, most importantly, BOSH into the ballroom!

The Strictly Come Dancing contestants include:

• Harry Aikines Aryeetey – Olympian and Gladiators star.
• Dani Dyer – Love Island The daughter of actor Danny Dyer.
• Alex Kingston – Doctor Who actress.
• Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – Former Chelsea player and England coach.
• Balvinder S. – EastEnders’ actress.
• George Clarke – YouTuber and TikTok star.
• La Voix – Drag performer and RuPaul Drag Race UK runner-up.
• Chris Robshaw – Rugby player.
• Ellie Goldstein – Model – first with Down syndrome on the cover of British Vogue.
• Thomas Skinner – The Apprentice Star and businessman

Strictly’s controversy is growing

The show, while exciting and promising, is also being scrutinized. The 2023 series has been reported to have two unnamed individuals accused of drug abuse and excessive drinking. These allegations include claims of cocaine being taken at parties after the shows at Elstree Studios or the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

The BBC has had a difficult year. Strictly. Amanda Abbington, a professional dancer, accused Giovanni Pernice in 2023 of “unnecessary cruel and mean behavior”. BBC’s investigation confirmed complaints of verbal abuse and harassment, but denied claims of physical aggression.
