The Script’s momentous return at Starlite

Starlite celebrates the return of The Script

The Script, who will be making their debut at Starlite Occident Festival, Marbella, on July 19, 2025 at 9pm. 

The Irish band, best known for songs like “Hall of Fame”, Superheroes”, or “The Man Who Cannot Be Moved”, has sold 12,000,000 albums worldwide and amassed 10 billion streams. The Script is back with a new record, Satellites. The album pays a touching tribute to Mark Sheehan. He died unexpectedly in April of 2023.

The band recently wowed 28000 fans in a sold out Thomond Park, Limerick. Danny O’Donoghue dedicated the song “If You Could see Me Now” to those who have lost loved ones. The band wowed thousands at Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival with energetic performances of “Breakeven”, Rain, and a phenomenal rendition of David Bowie’s Let’s Dance.

The current lineup of O’Donoghue (with Glen Power), Benjamin Seargent (with Ben Weaver), and Ben Weaver bring back the boundless passion to classics, such as “Six Degrees of Separation”, and “For The First Time”.

Starlite’s performance in Marbella will be a memorable night, with powerful vocals, moving storytelling, and a danceable energy. This will be The Script’s only appearance at this festival. Tickets start at €52 from the official Starlite website. Calle Albinoni in Marbella is where the Starlight Festival takes place.
