Spring cleaning ideas that are eco-friendly to help you refresh your home.

TikTok star Armen Adamjan, better known as ‘Creative Explained,’ has released many viral videos on how to clean smarter using natural ingredients you probably already have at home. Bicarbonate of soda, distilled white vinegar, and lemons are all natural cleaning ingredients that you probably already have at home.

Water ring left on your wooden side table? Grab your iron

Place a damp towel over the stain while it is still fresh. Then, iron the cloth for a few moments. The heat will evaporate the moisture and the ring should disappear.

What to do if your stove is slick and sticky? Lemon and bicarbonate soda

Pour remove the greasy buildup from your hob simply sprinkle bicarb over it and squeeze fresh lemon juice. Watch the bicarb fizz, then scrub it with a nonscratch sponge. Wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.

Smeared screens? You can fix it with tea and coffee.

For smudged screens you can use a tea bag dipped in water to rub on the screen. You can then wipe the screen dry with a coffee filter. You will have a clear screen without streaks.

What to do if you find limescale on your showerhead. Create a vinegar bag

You’ll have to remove the limescale if your shower head is white and has low water pressure. Fill the Ziplock bag up with white distilled vinaigrette. It is best to secure it with a rubberband around the shower head. Let it soak for about an hour. Removing, rinsing, and enjoying the shine. This hack can also be used on taps.

Do you have dried soap scum in your shower glass or other bathroom fixtures? Vinegar, bicarb sodium, and a little lemon

Spray vinegar on the shower glass. Next, sprinkle some bicarb over it. Use a lemon half dipped into salt to gently polish the glass. Rinse and dry with a cloth. The glass should be crystal clear and sparkling.

Do you have dirty oven racks or racks in your oven? Create a natural cleaning paste

Make a paste by mixing bicarb, vinegar, and lemon juice. Apply the paste to the racks and leave them for one hour. Rinse and scrub the racks thoroughly.

What to do about stale shoes? Tea bags work well as absorbents
