Czech car maker Škoda has been launching some attractive EVs and none more so than with their sporting vRS models. Elroq, the top-of-the range vRS model from Skoda, was revealed just six months following the launch of the Elroq family. This range competes in popular electric compact SUV segments. This new member of the vRS range has two motors generating a combined system output of 340PS and is equipped all-wheel. It comes with an electric range of more than 340 miles, specific vRS accessories and comprehensive standard equipment. It is also the fastest accelerating car in Škoda’s current model portfolio, sprinting from 0 to 100kph/62 mph in 5.4 seconds.

The sporty top version of the Elroq was part of the Milan Design Week following its digital world premiere, it was showcased at the event in Italy last month, marking the first public appearance of the Škoda Elroq vRS. The electric motors – on the front axle and on the rear axle – develop a total output of 340 PS and support all-wheel drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100kph/62 mph in 5.4 seconds, with a top speed of 178 kph/111 mph mean the Elroq vRS is a veritable pocket rocket. The high-voltage batteries have a capacity exceeding 84 kWh. This allows for a maximum electric range greater than 547km/340miles on the WLTP cycle.

Standard equipment includes LED Matrix-beam headlights, LED rear lights and dynamic indicators. As standard, an electrically-adjustable driver’s chair with massage feature is also included. The Maxx Package includes a front passenger seat with massage function.

The vRS model is also characterized by a new, high-gloss, black face that accommodates multiple sensors including radar. The LED Matrix beam headlights with their four-eye look is a hallmark of the Škoda SUV range. As standard, LED rear lamps with dynamic indicators come as well.

The pricing and specification of the first delivery is expected in summer.
