This Friday, high tolls on the AP-7 & AP-46 go into effect.

Diaz stated, “We have once again called on the government to Pedro Sanchez to look into the situation in Andalucia & Malaga.”

Despite the closure of A-397, major roadworks are still causing travel problems between Ronda (the city) and the coast.
Commuters have few alternatives and are often forced to pay a high price to use the AP-7 road.

Diaz calls for short-term actions, such as discounts on tolls, to ease financial burdens on commuters now forced to rely upon the toll roads due to the A-397 closure.
Diaz has not given a timeline for the A-397 reopening, but the work is expected to take between four and six months.

Construction is currently being carried out seven days a weeks by the regional government to stabilize and accelerate the slope.
She also announced that more workers are expected to join the project in the coming weeks – a move she says demonstrates the Junta’s commitment to reducing the overall length of the road closure.
Diaz declared, “We will do everything in our power to help you.” It’s now time for the central Government to support Andalucian commuters the same as they have elsewhere in Spain.
