A €50 reward is being offered by Spain’s La Liga to anyone who reports bars streaming football without a licence.
The Spanish Football League has taken this new measure to combat illegal streaming and piracy.
The league hopes to learn about bars, restaurants, and betting shops who are not licensed by using their report channel and working with them responsibly.

Anyone who spots illegal streaming in these establishments is encouraged to report it online. Cash prizes are offered for valid reports with positive outcomes.
The streamers will be reported anonymously and confidentially. Anonymous reporters will however not be able to receive the €50 reward.

“We want to make sure that everyone knows how to recognize illegal broadcasting, and understands they can easily report it to us in a safe and confidential manner. We also want to recognize that citizen collaboration is key in this fight.
Bars should stream matches through La Liga Bares with the official signal protecting businesses from legal risks and allowing ‘each sporting event to be enjoyed with complete peace of mind and professionalism, reinforcing customer confidence’.
