Mini-spring heatwave is on its way to Spain: Highs of 21C on the Costa Blanca this week

Spain is about to experience a mini-spring warmth wave: temperatures of 21C this week on the Costa Blanca

SPAIN will get a taste of summer early this week as a mini-spring warmth wave pushes temperatures upwards to 21C along Costa Blanca. 

On Valencia’s Costa Blanca, today is forecast to be a warm day of 21C.

Sevilla and Cadiz will also be warming today, with temperatures reaching 23?C or 21C.

The sun will be shining and the skies clear across most of Spain on Tuesday. Temperatures will soar. 

Northern regions – including Burgos, Valladolid and Segovia – could see rises of more than 6?°C.

Bilbao, which has the highest temperatures in the entire country, will have the greatest increase during the day. The temperature is expected to rise by almost 10C.

The Costa Blanca temperatures will be around 19C.

Even though the temperature will rise significantly, it’s expected to last only a short time.

The maximum temperatures across the Iberian Peninsula are expected to drop on Wednesday after reaching a peak on Tuesday. 

Temperatures are expected to hover around 20C on Wednesday across the majority of Spain, with a slight dip down to 17C along Costa Blanca. 

Bilbao, Sevilla and other cities will continue to enjoy balmy temperatures of 22C or 25C.
