Sierra Blanca Estates’ dedication to Costa del Sol

Sierra Blanca Estates, a luxury residential developer on Spain’s Costa del Sol for over 40 years has cleverly combined innovation, sustainability, and wellness.

The company’s flagship project, Torre del Río, exemplifies the vision by revolutionising luxury living while driving urban transformation along the Costa del Sol. Sierra Blanca, by combining high-quality architectural design with the best public spaces and services available, has helped Malaga Province to become a more attractive international property market and encourage sustainable urban regeneration.

A landmark initiative was the transformation of Malaga’s El Bulto neighborhood with a groundbreaking project under Andalucia’s new Land Law. Sierra Blanca, the first “urbanising agent”, collaborates with local officials to develop housing and sports facilities. They also create green spaces and a two storey cultural center that connects Malaga’s historic roots to modern Malaga. The project includes modernising Atletico Malaga Football Club’s facilities, adding an underground parking garage, and improving the road access by providing over 400 additional parking spaces.

Sierra Blanca’s social responsibility is at the heart of its mission. El Bulto is a project that includes 80 affordable housing units. The company has also developed over 370 VPOs on the Costa del Sol. These include 25 in Arroyo Palomeras, Marbella, and 270 units in Hacienda de Cortes. “We cannot ignore the housing access crisis,” said Pedro Rodríguez, president of Sierra Blanca, stressing the company’s commitment to social cohesion.

Sierra Blanca, in addition to housing, promotes sports for social integration through sponsorship of Marbella Football Club and the Reserve Cup. It also sponsors athletes who participate in adapted sports. Rafa Nadal Club Malaga, which will open soon, will encourage Costa del Sol residents to adopt healthy lifestyles.

Sierra Blanca Foundation is a company that supports cultural and education initiatives. It partners with organisations like Caritas and the Gasol Foundation to reinforce its commitment to sustainable development and community welfare.
