Shepherd is arrested in Spain for ‘stealing 264 sheep from his boss’ after being sacked – CSN News


A Sacked sheep-herder in Extremadura took revenge on his former employer by stealing his 264 sheep.

Guardia Civil has arrested the former worker, aged 41. 30 animals have been recovered so far.

He’s also accused of stealing items worth over €31,700 from the Caceres area business.

The farm manager called the Guardia last month when he saw that sheep numbers had decreased between April and December.

After investigations, it was revealed that the disgruntled employee had stolen the sheep and sold to rival farms.

The animals were removed from two different locations.

The man has been arrested and charged with theft and fraud.

The Guardia Civil is still investigating the disappearance of the other flock members.
