SEMANA Santa will have a dry, sunny start to the week in Andalucia. According to Aemet, the state weather agency, rain is unlikely due to a persistent Atlantic anticyclone.
The temperatures in most parts of the area are likely to be comfortable between 22C and 24C, with Sevilla possibly seeing the mercury reach 26C for the first half week.
Malaga will be cooler than usual because of patchy clouds. However, clear skies elsewhere are expected to bring about a dramatic drop in temperature overnight.
Bring a jacket with you, because temperatures can drop dramatically in the evening.

Aemet reports that, although the occasional shower cannot be ruled out completely, the general pattern will remain stable. The high-pressure system is unlikely to change during the seven Holy Week days.
This sunny weather forecast will be welcomed by thousands of Andalucians who are getting ready to line the streets for Semana Santa.
