Sami James – a Costa del Sol born musician – will enthrall audiences at Ona Amanda Club Elviria Marbella this Saturday, 27 July.
The Estepona singer-songwriter is known for his unique blends of indie rock and pop. He promises a great evening with original songs as well as classic covers.
Sami was born in Malaga, Spain in 1989. His parents are British and Argentinian. He began playing the guitar at age 14. Sami was influenced by bands such as Oasis and Fleetwood Mac. He then studied at Brighton’s Music College before returning to Spain. His style, described as “rock, but not too rocky, and pop, but not too poppy”, resonates with fans across Andalucía.
Sami is a well-known solo artist. He also has a duo called The Blue Sky and a band called The Rabbit Holes. A new CD will be released next year. His latest EP Spiritual Malady remixed by Eliot Kennedy was released on December 1, 2020, and received high praise for the heartfelt lyrics.
