The Salón Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola is presenting its latest theatrical production and a series of music concerts over the coming weeks. The theatre’s programme, which has entertained the English-speaking local community for over 40 years, continues with the production of Run for Your Wife, a comedy play. The farce, written by English playwright Ray Cooney, focuses on the antics of a London cab driver who has two wives and a complicated life after an accident which led to him being hospitalized.

The play is performed every night at 7:30pm (or 8pm on Sunday) starting on Wednesday, and will continue until Sunday, 25 January.

El Divo Clasico Teatro will be presented by Tre-Amici in two performances on Saturday and Friday, 6th and 7th February. Fans of operatic-pop music can enjoy this show. The Hull-based classic crossover trio was formed in 2012. They were originally called The Opera Guys and gained fame after appearing on The X Factor. The popularly-requested trio will be returning to the theatre after its performance in 2024. They recreate the music from Il Divo and the Three Tenors.

Laura Carter, a popular Costa singer who is known for her Adele tribute shows, will bring the chart-topping hits to life on Sunday 15th February. This performance will include all of the top Adele hits including Rolling in Deep Someone Like You, Set Fire to the Rain and others.

The Marbella-based vocalist, who will perform the show with a live band, is no stranger to the stage at the Salón, having performed there several times in the past, both in theatrical productions and pantomimes and with her solo shows.

After their two sold-out performances at the theatre in the past year, the Costa del Sol’s top psychedelic band will return for two nights, on Friday, 27 February and Saturday, 28 February. Founded in 2022 by local musician Steve Hughes, The Pink Floyd Experience España will present a symphony of psychedelic music performed by an ensemble of established British, Spanish and Dutch musicians and vocalists. This large-scale production, which has been performed at venues all over Andalucía, recreates the music of the world-renowned rock band’s 50-year career, taking the audience on a tour of iconic hits from pioneering albums like Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall. In addition to the amazing musicianship, the production also includes a spectacular stage and light show that reproduces the ambiance of a Pink Floyd live concert.

Tickets for all concerts, which start at 7.30pm (7pm Sunday), can be reserved on www.salonvarietestheatre.com. Tickets can also be reserved by visiting the box office of the theatre between 11am-2.30pm Monday through Friday.
