Midnight Hour, the hardest-working band on the Costa del Sol, returns to the Salón Varietés with their tribute to the southern Soul sounds of the Commitments.
The Sound of The Commitments is a show inspired by The Commitments (1991 musical drama book and film). Midnight Hour recreates the soundtrack of the cult film theme. The band performs classic soul songs from Soul legends such as Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett.
This musical ten-piece, known for their irritating tunes such as Mustang Sally and Chain of Fools has been gaining so much momentum in the last year, that it looks like this concert will be one that quickly sells out. Past performances by the band on the Costa del Sol received a lot of praise from the audience, including how well they recreated the feel and sound of The Commitments. The night will be filled with entertainment, dancing, and singing along to the best Southern Soul songs.
