Riff Raff Reunion play rare gig at Louie Louie

The Costa del Sol is about to be flooded with the wildest rock’n roll era’s ghosts.

RiffRaff reunion, Spain’s most enduring tribute to the electrifying forces of AC/DC will dust off its tartan for a blistering show. Some of us may need ear protection at a time when we are more fragile.

RiffRaff Reunion was formed in 1992 in Sevilla by obsessive music fans who channelled the spirit and howl of Bon Scott for more than three decades. The band’s commitment to authenticity is so strong that it borders on the supernatural. The razor-sharp duel of guitars and the pounding rhythmic section are all dripping with reverence. This transforms a simple concert into a full-throttle time machine.

RiffRaff Reunion in Estepona is a rare event

RiffRaff Reunion gathers only on rare occasions. Each performance feels like an eruptive event. The playlist will include anthems from the ’80s, such as “Highway to Hell”, “T.N.T.” and other classics. They’ll be performed with such accuracy that you might think you are at a 1979 gig, dodging flying drumsticks or stage dives.

Their credentials are ironclad, as the longest-running AC/DC homage in Spain – a whopping 33 years and counting – RiffRaff Reunion has outlasted imitators and earned the ultimate seal of approval. AC/DC’s first drummer selected RiffRaff Reunion for a nationwide concert tour in 2019. This is a testament to their quality.

RiffRaff Reunion, the homage to AC/DC, will raise the roof of Louie Louie Live Estepona at 11.55pm on Saturday, 10/10/11, following the Saturday night staples The KP Band. Doors open at Avenida Luis Braille, Estepona, Spain, with advance tickets at €16.50 (€15 entry + €1.50 fees), available from woutick.es now for this homage to AC/DC that you won’t want to miss.
