Vera Local Police launched a new initiative to enforce pet ownership regulations in urban spaces.
The initiative promotes responsible pet care among residents to help ensure cleaner streets, parks and other public places.
Owners of pets should be reminded that it is their responsibility to remove the waste from their animals immediately and dispose it in appropriate containers or bins. Along with waste bags, owners should also carry bottles of vinegar and water to clean urine off public places.

Failure to comply with these regulations can result in fines of up to €300. The campaign aims to highlight the importance for civic responsibility and cooperation within communities in maintaining clean and hygienic spaces.
