Real Mallorca starts pre-season training

Local Real Mallorca football team, which has several friendlies ahead of the start of the next La Liga season in mid-August, has introduced two new players: Pablo Torre and Lucas Bergström, as announced last Friday.

The team reported The Cantabrian footballer Torre, who previously played for Chelsea, was brought to Mallorca, as well as the Finnish goalkeeper Bergstrom. 

The team, as a part of its preseason programSon Bibiloni will host their first friendlies this Wednesday at 9:45 against Sant Andreu.

Mallorca will then head to Austria for its annual summer training camp where they will play an additional three friendlies on the 27, 30, and 31, July. The matches are part of a tight schedule, before returning to Palma at the end of July. They will help the team fine-tune tactics and fitness under cooler conditions. The preseason ends with a final friendlies on August 6 against Hamburg SV and the historic Trofeu Ciutat de Palma match on the 9th of August. This is a thorough preparation for LaLiga.

On August 16, the team will play its first La Liga game of the 2025-2026 seasons against Barcelona, which visits the Son Moix Stadium.

Mallorca’s season ended with 13 victories, nine draws, and sixteen losses. Getafe Europa defeated them 2-1 by Getafe in May, ending their UEFA Europa League hopes.
