Raul Asencio, the REAL Madrid player who is accused of sharing a sex video involving a child with another person, will be brought before a court on Thursday.
The investigation by the San Bartolome de Tirajana Court in Gran Canaria is now complete, and the Public Prosecutor’s office can file an indictment against Asencio (22), and three former Real Madrid Youth teammates: Ferran Ruiz (22), Andres Garca (22) and Juan Rodriguez (23).
The players are accused of ‘discovery of secrets without consent and violation of privacy, of distribution and sending to third parties the videos without warning the victims or their consent, and of recruitment or use of minors for pornographic purposes and possession of the videos without their consent’.
The case involves a video, allegedly filmed Ruiz Garcia, and Rodriguez. It involved a young girl and a minor at the age of 16 and 18, respectively.
Asencio, his teammates and the 16-year old girl were arrested in September 2023 at Real Madrid’s training grounds after her mother had filed a police complaint.
According to the mother’s account, an intimate sexual relationship was had in a private nightclub room in Amadores, Gran Canaria. A recording was made, however, without the girls’ consent.
