Quirónsalud Torrevieja Hospital A new Outpatient Consulting Area has been inaugurated, a modern, functional space which will serve around 12,000 patients every month. The new facility was designed to improve the patient experience by enhancing comfort, streamlining procedures and incorporating advanced technologies.
The area is located on the 1st floor of Building A and comprises 15 consultations rooms. They are all designed to offer a more efficient and personalised care. The design prioritizes patient comfort, optimises clinical workflows and helps reduce waiting times.
This expansion, launched following the celebration of Quirónsalud Torrevieja Hospital’s 25th anniversary, forms part of the hospital’s Master Plan, which sets out its vision for the future. This strategic roadmap focuses on continuous improvements of facilities and services. It adapts to the growing clinical activity, while integrating modern, efficient spaces that are aligned with highest standards of quality healthcare.
Scribe Technology: Doctors focus on the patient
The new consultation rooms also incorporate the Scribe project, an innovative initiative through which the Quirónsalud Group is evolving traditional healthcare in Spain towards a model fully centred on the humanisation of care. The system allows the healthcare professional to completely focus on the patient when consulting. Scribe allows doctors to maintain eye contact with their patients and have a direct conversation, reducing the amount of typing or manual entry during appointments.
Scribe was developed to improve communication between doctors and patients, reduce administrative burden and facilitate consultations in a natural, efficient and personal way. In doing so, it reinforces Quirónsalud’s commitment to a people-centred model of care.
With this new area, Quirónsalud Torrevieja Hospital continues to move forward in its commitment to innovation, the humanisation of healthcare and excellence in the patient experience.
