Festive cheer awaits at Pub Branigans in Torremolinos for charity giving and ugly jumpers

Pub Branigans Torremolinos welcomes you with a festive cheer for charity giving, ugly jumpers and more.

Pub Branigans is spreading Christmas cheer this year with two heartwarming initiatives that are both hilarious and heartwarming. They combine fun, generosity and festive revelry.

Located on Avenida Palma de Mallorca 6 in the bustling heart of Torremolinos, the iconic venue – that’s been around since 1989 – has long been a favourite for locals, expats, and holiday visitors looking for a welcoming atmosphere, live sports on multiple screens, and a spacious terrace to get some rays.

Pub Branigans will be the official drop-off location for Costa Christmas Collections this year. Patrons should purchase an additional gift to give to a less-fortunate child. The gift must be wrapped and clearly marked with the gender and age of the recipient. The pub will accept gifts until December 22, the deadline. Staff urged the community to brighten up a child’s holidays with a simple gesture.

Costa Christmas Collections (also known as Food Fairies) is an annual appeal organized by Hadas caradas, providing new, wrapped gifts for vulnerable children at safe houses, domestic violence refuges, and foodbank families throughout the Costa del Sol. This drive, which is aimed at tackling the rising poverty that affects over a third (33%) of Malaga’s minors, ensures every child has a Christmas present.

On Saturday, December 20th, at 4pm, the pub will be hosting the much-anticipated Xmas Jumper Party. For an afternoon filled with fun and merriment guests are invited to dress up in their most outrageous (and perhaps ugly) Christmas jumpers. Prizes will be given out for the best, as well as for the worst designs. There will be free food and drinks, as well as Santa hats.

Special drinks include Danish mulled wine at €4 and Tuborg Christmas beer for just €3. Pub Branigans will welcome you warmly, regardless of whether your Christmas celebration is a festive one or a charitable event. Join the fun by popping in for a beer!
