High-octane rave kings, Prodigy, hit Fuengirola

Prodigy are the high-octane kings of rave in Fuengirola

For many living on the Costa del Sol in their late 40s to mid-50s, this will be the gig of the year – the Prodigy. It is not necessary to explain them. Breathe, Out of Space, Firestarter, and Voodoo People – the high-octane dance music band Prodigy marked the rave generation, and they were the before and after in British dance music.

They started in Braintree (Essex) and caused a storm in the UK with their first single Charly Says. They became global overnight with the Keith Flint fronted Firestarter. Clint died tragically in 2029 and left the rest of band in shock. Tickets are already running out for the Marenostrum Festival on Saturday, 27th July, where they will be back as hard and funky.

Fuengirola’s neighbours will be complaining over the Prodigy’s high-octane music

The Prodigy, led by Liam Howlett – the man behind the groundbreaking sound of The Prodigy – continues to break boundaries with its wild live performances. Maxim is the dynamic MC, who brings raw, energetic energy to the stage. Together, they have reimagined the iconic sound of the group while honoring Keith Flint’s legacy. The Marenostrum Festival show promises to be a high energy set, mixing their classics “Smack My Bitch Up”, and “No Good (Start the Dance),” with their latest project Satisfaxion 301, a nod towards their unrelenting passion to create and innovate.

This is a visceral event, featuring pulsating music, strobes, and anarchic visuals. The Marenostrum Festival is the ideal backdrop for this sonic attack. The Prodigy takes the stage around 9.30pm. Gates open at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced from €55, are selling fast, so everyone is urged to get theirs via the official Marenostrum website. Don’t miss your chance to watch a legendary performance that continues to inspire a new generation. There will be a drone display after the show that you won’t forget.
