Pique’s Twitter becomes a sensation following Barcelona’s win over Real Madrid.

Barcelona won the Copa del Rey Trophy on Saturday night, after a 3-2 victory in extra time over archrivals Real Madrid. The match took place at La Cartuja Stadium near Seville.

Jules Kounde’s decisive goal scored in the 116th minutes was an unforgettable night for the blaugrana squad. Barcelona, composed and resilient, took the early lead with Pedri’s strike. Madrid won the match with quick goals from Kylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni and Ferran Torres.

Hansi’s Flick team won their first silverware this season, thanks to Kounde’s decisive punch. This came after a heated and tense match. Barcelona remains on track for an historic treble with La Liga, and Champions League still to be won.

Gerard Piqué: “In the end, the good guys always win”

The 38-year-old’s remark also delivered a sharp jab at ‘Los Blancos’ long-standing persecution complex regarding refereeing decisions.

Real Madrid ended the Seville evening in shame, as three players were sent off at the final whistle. Antonio Rudiger will now face a lengthy suspension for throwing ice towards the referee. Jude Bellingham had already vented her frustrations before the second period even began.
