A BRITISH mother stabbed to death in front of her young children in Alhaurín el Grande has been named.
Victoria Hart was killed in her home in La Paca on Calle Tomillo on Saturday in what is believed to be a domestic violence case.
When neighbours heard her screaming for assistance, they raised the alarm at 11.40am.
A local resident entered the property, and discovered the victim lying on the floor with a large pool of blood. Nearby was a knife.
After his mother was attacked, her 11-year old son ran to the garden to scream for help. He called his grandmother and said: “Dad killed mum.”
Victoria suffered multiple stab injuries and emergency services arrived on the scene. However, they were not able to save her.
Juan Antonio Rueda was arrested by police after he handed himself in and told officers, “Arrest Me, I have done something very Bad.”

Victoria has been recorded on the VioGen Monitoring System, which was created in 2004, as part of a campaign to stop gender-based violence.
Despite having active judicial protection measures, including a restraining order and a ban on communication, her risk level had been classified as ‘low’.
Friends say the couple was separated for several months, but that the suspect harassed her by sending her messages when she was out with her friends and then showing up at her home.
The hairdresser, who was originally from the West Midlands, moved to southern Spain and operated her business from home.

A spokesperson for the Guardia Civil said: “The Guardia Civil is investigating the death of a woman in Alhaurín el Grande. Her ex-partner was arrested and charged with the murder.
In a statement, Alhaurín town council said: “The town council would like to convey our deepest condolences and support to the victim’s family and friends, as well as our absolute rejection and condemnation of this act of gender-based violence, a social scourge that seriously violates human rights and which we must eradicate with the involvement of the whole of society.”
Local mayor Anthony Bermudez has declared Monday an official day for mourning. At 5pm, a minute of silence will be held to pay tribute to Victoria.
