Harry Watts, an 18-year-old Briton who was on holiday last week in Marbella fell from his balcony in the Hard Rock Hotel.

The 24-year old has been placed in an induced state of coma, fighting for his own life at the hospital in Malaga after suffering multiple fractures, internal damage, and a bleeding on the brain.

The incident occurred while he was on vacation with three friends on the Costa del Sol.

Watts’s friends have started a fundraiser to ‘support him and his family, now, and in the future’.

One of Harry’s close friends told him: “I will run the Rasselbock race in Nottingham, on the 13th of July, to raise funds for Harry, as well as his care, treatment and recovery.”

Watts has had multiple surgeries and ‘has a lot more ahead of him before he’s out of it all’, one of his closest friends said.

Apparently, the young man’s family has ‘dropped everything instantly’ and ‘rushed to be by his side’.

The text of the fundraiser continued, “They’re there, day or night, praying for Harry’s well-being, as we are.”

Watts’ family, friends and supporters are shown support by comments on Facebook.

He is also organizing a group of friends. fundraising football game Hull will host the event.

Facebook says: “Football was one of the last priorities for us.”

“The primary goal of the event is to raise money for an outstanding young man!”

The tourist was said to have fallen from a balcony on the first floor, but it’s believed that the fall would be equivalent to a third-floor drop because of where the hotel is located.

Police questioned his friends, but they are not believed to have been involved in this freak accident.

Police are also not treating the incident as a case of so-called ‘balconing’, the dangerous trend where foreign tourists try to jump from their balconies to hotel swimming pools.
